Toilet π½ Fear
yummy π delicious, mouth watering meal none can deny.The aroma of tasty food robes our attention from miles away; hardly are humans captived by the fragrance of waterπ, surely does water have a smellπ³ ?. I guess not with all my days on planet earth π,water is basically water no scents involved.
Talking from experience, taking in food is awesome,but excreting it is another fateful event.Today I wish to share with you my dilemma with constipation (maneno,s).
What is constipation?
Constipation is the difficulty to have a bowel (stool) movement . Stool movements may be :
✓Painful to get out.
✓Hard or dry.
✓Happening less than 3 times per week.
I know where the shoe pinches most with the above said.Trust me I hated pooping and feared toilets since I knew how terrible it would be in there.So you may ask how did I get here.
Causes of constipation.
✓Not drinking enough fluids.
✓Low fibre diet.
✓Ignoring the urge to have a bowel movement.
✓Not getting enough body activity.
✓Stress or depression.
I suffeed this incidence due Less fluids intake,low fiber intake and no body activity. The 8 cups of water per day concept didn't apply to me,as for body activity ,I wasn't interested in lossing weight so! Let's talk about the fibre intake.
Importance of fibre.
Eating food rich in fibre helps prevent constipation by making stool bulky ,soft and easier to pass.
Their 2 types of fibre:
1 soluble fibre found in grain products,cereals, brown rice,oats,beans etc
2.insoluble fibre found in all vegetables and fruits.
Dealing with constipation isn't that tough,it only requires some few changes in your diet and body management.it is also advisable to talk to a health provider about supplements to help with constipation.I dealt with my own experience with constipation. It's time to be mindful of your own before the worse happens.
Note: chronic constipation can lead to creation of haemorrhoids (sweeling in anul area) in the anus area, which may require surgery to be treated.
